Project Challenge
The objective of this assignment was to automate security personnel planning as well as the control process.
Methodology
PMI was used for project management, defining deliverables and implementing all activity. In order to develop the software, C#.Net and React Native were used.
Solution
The objective required several platforms to be developed. First, an app was created for Android devices that could properly read barcodes with the phone’s camera. An API was required to synchronize the barcode markings read with the previous app. In addition, an operational portal software was developed to create incident reports and dashboard indicators. When these incidents were recorded, another service had to send notifications of them via email. Lastly, a web portal was developed so the customer could make service requests.
Benefits
By making the planning process automatic, there was a greater control of personnel recording, the payroll process became more efficient, the customer experience was heightened, and the entire process was improved.
